Joanne is a licensed Physical Therapist with extensive experience in restoring movement, strength, and function for individuals of all ages. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Our Lady of Fatima University in 2007. She is an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician and an IASTM Certified Practitioner.
Joanne specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson’s disease, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and bone health concerns such as osteoporosis and low bone mass (osteopenia). She designs safe, effective, and evidence-based exercise programs to promote bone density, improve balance, and reduce fall risk.
Passionate about helping patients achieve their maximum movement potential, Joanne focuses on identifying physical limitations, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping each patient apply improved movement and strength to everyday activities and hobbies.
To stay at the forefront of her field, Joanne regularly attends seminars, workshops, and continuing education courses to ensure her practice reflects the most current and effective physical therapy techniques. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association (CTPTA), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
