About Youtherapy Wellness and Physical Rehab

The clinic that treats the cause.

Most clinics manage your symptoms and call it a plan. We built this place to end them: one-on-one, with a licensed physical therapist, every single visit.

Our Story

This isn’t our story. It’s yours.

Portrait of Rey Abadilla, founder of Youtherapy Wellness and Physical Rehab

Rey Abadilla, PT, Founder

Somewhere along the way, the stairs got a handrail. Mornings got careful. You stopped saying yes to a few things and told yourself it was fine. Nobody decides to live that way. It arrives quietly, while you are busy looking after everyone else.

Rey Abadilla built this place for exactly that moment. He earned his physical therapy degree from Our Lady of Fatima University in 2006, and has spent most of his career with older adults and in neurologic rehab. He has taught in PT education programs and started his own NPTE review class. But the work he kept coming back to was the senior population. He related to them. He learned as much from their well-lived lives as they learned from him. He and his wife found a shared passion there, and built their careers around it.

Youtherapy is what came of that. A Milford clinic set up for older adults and for anyone whose mobility has slipped, so they can stay fit, strong and independent. You are not here to be managed. You are here to get something back. The people who do best here are the ones who fix things: their houses, their teams, their families. This is where they finally fix the thing they’ve been putting off: themselves.

“Let’s bring back the youth in you.”

What We Believe

Four things we’ll never compromise.

Your hour. Not shared.

You will not be doubled with another patient during your appointment time. No techs bouncing between rooms, no handoff halfway through. One therapist, one patient, the whole visit.

Cause first. Symptoms follow.

You have probably chased the ache itself and never found out why it started. That is not your fault. Nobody looked. We look first, and then it stops coming back.

Plans end. That’s the point.

You should not need a punch card. Every plan gets an endpoint on day one, so you always know how close you are to done.

You’re not a protocol.

Your work, your body, the thing you actually want back. That is what the plan is built around. Nothing here gets pulled off a generic sheet.

The Difference

The whole hour is yours.

Our own physical therapist, Dr. Chelsey Eddy, puts it plainly: “you will not be doubled with any other patient during your appointment time with us.” That is the difference, and it changes everything downstream from it.

A typical clinic

  • You explain your pain to a different aide every visit
  • Your hour gets split with two other patients
  • The same pain creeps back in a few months
  • No graduation date, just book again next week

Youtherapy Wellness and Physical Rehab

  • One-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit
  • Your full hour, uninterrupted, every time
  • A cause-first evaluation before we treat anything
  • A plan with an endpoint, mapped out on day one

A patient, Joanne B., said it before we ever asked her to: “The therapist is not juggling three patients simultaneously. It’s an individual-based PT program.”

Schedule Appointment

Rooted in Milford

This is our neighborhood too.

The people on our schedule are our neighbors. The retired teacher two streets over. The grandfather who wants to carry his own groceries again. The wife who has been quietly pushing through it so nobody else has to worry. One of our therapists has treated Milford for 22 years and lives here himself. Recovery is a lot more personal when it is local. We also see patients who drive in from the towns nearby.
