What we target, what we've done, and how to reach us if something here isn't working for you.

Our commitment

Youtherapy Wellness and Physical Rehab wants everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or rely on other assistive technology, to be able to find our hours, learn about a condition or service, and request an appointment on this website.

We've built and reviewed this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Section 504 rule and commonly used as the benchmark in ADA Title III web accessibility cases.

What we've done

This site was reviewed and remediated section by section against WCAG 2.1 AA, including:

  • Semantic landmarks, a logical heading structure, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image, including staff portraits and award badges.
  • Forms with labels, clear error messages, and correct autocomplete on every field, including the appointment request and insurance benefits-check forms.
  • Color combinations checked against AA contrast minimums, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
  • Full keyboard operability for the navigation menu, FAQ accordions, the "point to where it hurts" body map, and both booking forms, including a working Escape key and correct focus handling.
  • Content that respects a visitor's operating-system setting to reduce motion, and that remains visible and readable if a browser has JavaScript turned off.

This is an ongoing review, not a one-time pass. We recheck this site as we add new pages or content, and any employee can flag an accessibility issue to be fixed.

Known limitations

Our Google review feed further down the home page is provided by a third-party widget (Elfsight) that we don't control the code of. If that widget ever behaves in a way that isn't fully accessible, a text fallback with a direct link to our reviews on Google is always available in its place, and every review is also readable on our Google Business listing directly.
